I don't know for sure, but it's also possible that somebody online has already made a Krita workspace or shortcut set that's close to what you want. Then you can save both the workspace and the keyboard shortcut set and share them with your friend. You can also edit keyboard shortcuts to make things even more like what they're used to. You can remove dockers or add extra dockers from the Settings > Dockers menu. You can do this by clicking on the title bar/name tag of any existing docker and dragging to a different edge of the screen. The easiest way is to get something close to what you want by rearranging all of the "dockers" (little windows) in a way that's similar to whatever program they're used to.
